🧶🎥 Ceridwen: The Vlogging Era

Well then. Apparently I’m a vlogger now. 😂

I’m not entirely sure when “I’ll just film a little bit of what I’m making” turned into me talking to a camera about yarn, but here we are.

Welcome to Ceridwen’s Cosy Crafting Corner — the newest little corner of the Crefftau Ceridwen chaos. 🧙♀️🧶☕

And actually? I bloody love it.

From behind the hook to in front of the camera…

Crefftau Ceridwen has always been about more than finished things.

It’s about the making.

The glorious moment when an idea pops into my head and I absolutely must start it immediately. The hyperfocus. The experimenting. The frogging. The questionable yarn decisions. The projects that behave beautifully and the ones that make me wonder why I ever learned to count. 😂

It’s the enormous pile of yarn that definitely has a purpose.

Eventually.

And while I can show you the finished pieces here, on Facebook or Instagram, there’s something lovely about actually sitting down together and showing you what happens in between.

So that’s what the vlog is going to be.

No polished influencer nonsense. No pretending my craft space is permanently immaculate or that every project goes according to plan.

Just cosy crafting, real life and Ceridwen chaos.

Every week I’ll be settling in for a crafty catch-up and sharing whatever has been happening in my little yarn-filled world.

There’ll be crochet. There’ll be knitting. There’ll be finished projects and half-finished projects and almost certainly projects I had absolutely no intention of starting until some beautiful yarn looked at me funny.

I’ll show you what I’ve been making, what I’ve learned, patterns I’m loving, new techniques I’m attempting and what’s coming next for Crefftau Ceridwen.

There’ll probably be books.

There will definitely be caffeine.

And because it’s me, there will inevitably be chaos. ✨

Some weeks we might have a proper project to tackle. Other weeks we might just sit down with our WIPs and have a natter about what we’ve been making.

Think of it less as watching a vlog and more like pulling up a chair in my cosy crafting corner.

Bring your crochet.

Bring your knitting.

Bring the project that’s been sitting untouched in a bag for six months.

No judgement here. 😂

Starting the vlog feels strangely exciting.

Crefftau Ceridwen began with making things because making things made me happy.

Then people actually wanted the things I made.

Then came patterns.

Tutorials.

More yarn.

More ideas.

More chaos.

And now apparently a camera has joined the cauldron. 😂

But the heart of it hasn’t changed.

It’s still about slowing down for a while, making something with our hands and finding a little bit of magic in the ordinary.

So this is officially Ceridwen: The Vlogging Era.

Same witch.

Same yarn obsession.

Same chaos.

Just considerably more talking. 🧙♀️🧶😂
